Henry & Harriet Pessah Tribute

Henry Pessah was a unique man.  A man who was very passionate about politics, music, photos, and most of all, his family.  He was a person who can only be spoken of in the highest of regards. His values were second to none and the values he instilled in his children and grandchildren will be carried on for generations and never be forgotten. There are no words to describe the type of human being he was. He leaves a big hole in all of or hearts as we continue to live on his legacy. He was the most remarkable, kind, understanding, and patient soul. At the core of what made him happy was his family, seeing his entire family happy and healthy and spending time with them at every opportunity.

Harriet Pessah was a loving great grandmother, grandmother, mother, and wife.  She was kind and compassionate to everyone she came across.  An avid reader of books she holds a special place in all of our hearts.  Her memory doesn’t fade and her wisdom, wittiness, and kindness will always be with us.  Family meant just as much to her as it did to Henry.  An incredible person who can never be replaced.  We hold you in our hearts and minds always and forever.

Please enjoy all of the memories on this page and I encourage everyone to leave a comment of a memory you have that you would like to share with everyone.

This page is in memorial to Henry & Harriet (Pappa & Bubbie) who will never be forgotten.

I love you pal

I have very fond memories of visiting great Aunt Harriet & Uncle Henry as a child. They never failed to send me a birthday card or send their love to me. I'm most thankful for the relationship they had with my grandma Syl and grandpa Mel. It was wonderful growing up to see how close they were and how much they enjoyed each other's company and gave me relationships to aspire to. May we all continue to get together as a family in their honor!

Hank and Harriet were an integral part of Ben turning out the way he did. They helped raise a caring, attentive, and supportive man, and as Ben's wife I am eternally grateful for that! I am so thankful for their influence and guidance, and the example they set for tending to family. Love!

Grandma and Grandpa always used to say - "We are leaving the world to the next generation. It's up to you now to make a difference." And so we are, and so we will. In their memory. <3
